I believe it is important to set boundaries between home and work, even in our digital lives. My setup allows me to switch easily between personal and work devices, so I can maintain that separation and shut down whichever is not needed. For any difficult coding sessions, I have my ducks to keep me company.

The ultrawide profile is great for productivity. First, I can easily fit three windows side by side on the screen. Second, there's no gap straight down the middle of my main display like there would be with dual monitors. One drawback: this is a flat VA panel so there is color shifting towards the outer edges. I can't recommend it if accurate colors are important to your work.

My primary monitor before I upgraded to the ultrawide. Now it contains widgets, chats, and other things I don't need on my main display.

Split keyboards have better ergonomics since you can place them at the correct angle for your wrists. There's also bonus space to put your drink in between.

Noise cancelling is a must to block out other people working from home. I've had to replace the ear pads twice since 2017, but the electronics are still working perfectly.

I think my setup is pretty quaint. What I love best about my workstation is the view of our condo's common area and the city skyline. It's great when you need to take a pause and think. I also get a daily dose of a beautiful sunset. I also like playing instrumental jazz music in the background for that coffee shop vibe.

My own little corner: A balance of productivity and personal flavor. For productivity, I use my Macbook Pro , mechanical keyboard, 2nd screen, mouse, notebook & pen. To keep me going and to inspire me I have knick knacks all around in my fave autumn pallette 💛
